Sascha and Mischa Manz are happy to announce their return on stage this year. Two important projects are going to cross their way this year:
- Through their close friendship with Mihkail Pletnev, one of the most outstanding musicians of our time, the twin brother receved the honor of being dedicated a two piano concerto composed by maestro Pletnev. The piece is inspired by Swiss traditional themes and enriches the two piano concertos repertoire (later this year fallowing an interview with Mikhail Pletnev speaking about his concerto).
- Sascha and MIscha Manz have been introduced this year to one of the greatest singers of the history of Russian Opera: Elena Obrastsowa. This incredible voice (mezzo soprano) and very charming person has sang in the biggest auditoriums of the world with world famous conductors. Elena asked spontaneously the twins, Sascha and Mischa, to accompany her at a recital during her competition held in her name in Moscow.
